Triangle Business Journal – Best Places to Work Award

Clarkston Consulting has been recognized once again by the Triangle Business Journal as one of the best places to work for in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, N.C. area for 2011. The annual Best Places to Work Award recognizes companies who succeed in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of company culture, working conditions, and benefits. Winners were chosen based on an employee survey process conducted by Quantum Market Research.

Clarkston was also selected as a double Platinum Rule™ award winner, procuring top honors in the categories for People Development and Incentives, Awards, and Recognitions.

CUBIC (Corporate University Best-in-Class) Award

In 2011, Clarkston Consulting received top honors for two of the five Corporate University Best-in-Class (CUBIC) awards presented by the International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC). Clarkston received first place in the categories of Best Mature Corporate University and First Class Job Building the Next Generation of Leaders. In addition, Clarkston Consulting has regularly been recognized as CUBIC’s Best Mature Corporate University, also receiving honors in 2003, 2004, 2006, 2009 and 2010.

Vault Tech Consulting 25 Rankings

Clarkston ranks No. 1 in nine categories in the 2012 Vault Tech Consulting 25 Quality of Life rankings including Firm Culture, Client Interaction, Overall Diversity, Supervisor Relations, Formal Training, Informal Training, Diversity for Women, Diversity for Minorities, and Diversity for LGBT Individuals. Clarkston also ranked No. 5 in the overall rankings.

ASTD Excellence in Practice

Clarkston Consulting received a prestigious Excellence in Practice Award from the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) in 2010, the world’s largest professional association dedicated to the training and development field.

ASTD BEST Awards

Clarkston also received a 2012 BEST Award from the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), ranking No. 12 out of 30 organizations to be recognized. The BEST Awards recognize organizations that demonstrate enterprise-wide success through employee learning and development. Consumer Goods Technology (CGT) Readers’ Choice Awards

For nine consecutive years, Clarkston Consulting has solidified a spot as a top 10 provider of consulting services by Consumer Goods Technology’s (CGT) Readers’ Choice Survey. The most recent results ranked Clarkston as a top provider of strategic and tactical consulting services, and specifically noted Clarkston’s industry expertise ideal for the midmarket in 2013. Clarkston was similarly recognized as CGT’s SMB Market Leader in 2012 highlighting Clarkston’s industry knowledge and strategic insights.

Clarkston Consulting also received No. 1 rankings in Customer Experience in previous years, including 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Clarkston was ranked among ‘Best-in-Class’ firms in 2004, and as the No. 1 provider of RFID services in the small-to-medium business category in 2005.

Best New Shared Services in North America 2010 Award

The Charmer Sunbelt Group, a consulting client of Clarkston, was recognized at the Shared Services Outsourcing Network’s (SSON) annual Shared Services Excellence Awards as the Best New Captive Services Delivery organization in North America. The honor recognizes and promotes both captive and outsourced shared services that demonstrate winning practices.

Clarkston Consulting was once again recognized as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the Research Triangle Park by the Triangle Business Journal in 2012. Clarkston was also recognized in 2007.

Clarkston ranked highest in depth of CPG industry expertise among leading consulting firms, according to Kennedy Information (2006).

The San Diego Business Journal recognized Clarkston Consulting in 2006 as one of the best medium-size firms to work for in San Diego because of its open communication policies, employee satisfaction survey, diversity, employee benefits, mission statement, and corporate culture.

“Best Employers in North Carolina” Competition

Clarkston Consulting was ranked No. 4 out of the Top 10 employers listed in the first annual “Best Employers in North Carolina” competition. Clarkston was recognized for its world-class benefits, staff care, and recognition and reward programs. Of particular note was the company’s service anniversary reward vacation, which is provided at an employee’s three and six-year tenure dates.

SAP Award of Excellence

Clarkston Consulting’s capabilities with the SAP software solution suite are unparalleled. Since our founding we have been involved with over 500 SAP projects across more than 20 clients, including strategies, implementations, upgrades, integration, and systems validation. We became an SAP National Implementation Partner in 1994 and are a three-time recipient of the SAP America Award of Excellence. Clarkston is currently an SAP Services Partner.

Technology Services Company of the Year

In 2003, Clarkston Consulting was selected as the Technology Services Company of the Year by North Carolina’s Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED). This award recognizes the best innovation-based products or technologies in the greater Research Triangle Park (RTP). According to CED, an important benchmark for defining entrepreneurial success is the ability to solve a problem through the use of a tangible product or technology.
