Paul Allen — Managing Partner, Life Sciences
Paul Allen is responsible for developing new services designed specifically for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries for Clarkston Consulting. He is also charged with leading Clarkston’s team of consultants who specialize in delivering solutions to these industries.
Allen came to Clarkston from IMS Health, where he served as vice president of marketing, and was responsible for more than 60 marketing and sales professionals. Prior to IMS Health, Allen was responsible for managing the sales organization, potential alliances, and acquisitions for Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals. He has been a featured speaker at numerous national pharmaceutical conferences where he covered topics from e-marketing and direct-to-consumer strategies, to optimizing sales force productivity through innovative compensation methods.
Allen attained his M.B.A. in marketing from Rutgers University and a B.S. in biology and chemistry from Eastern College.
